Warranty Policy – Western Distributors Equipment

Western Distributors Equipment will provide warranty coverage on all Western Distributors Equipment as

per the following guidelines:

To qualify for Western Distributors Equipment warranty coverage

  • • The product must be purchased in Australia, Papua New Guinea or New Zealand from Western Distributors Equipment or an authorised dealer of Western Distributors Equipment.
  • • The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser. Warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.
  • • Proof of purchase must be presented, including the serial number of the product

Western Distributors Equipment warranty obligation

Where a warranty request is made Western Distributors Equipment will repair or replace or credit (entirely at its discretion after inspection of the alleged faulty part) a product found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use during the relevant warranty period stated on the following page. Parts replaced or repaired under warranty are warranted only for the remainder of the balance of the warranty period.

Warranty period

Western Distributors Equipment are covered by warranty for the period as published on the following page and in effect at the time of sale, and shall be governed by all limitations and exclusions.

Warranty coverage:

    For Domestic use:
  • • Two years limited
  • - 1st Year- Parts and labour
  • - 2nd Year- Parts only

For Commercial use:

  • • One year limited both parts and labour *

Air cooled portable generators listed are covered for 500 hours use or the 2 year standard Western Warranty conditions, whichever comes first. * Water cooled stationary generators are covered for 1000 hours use or the 2 year standard Western Warranty conditions, whichever comes first.
